THE LEGEND OF LOVE BIRDS

Scene I: At the dining table of the palace…. (smooth – harsh melo~)

Princess Merida: Good Evening Dad! Good Evening Mom! What’s our dinner for tonight?! (Immediately went to her chair and put her bow over the table).

Queen: Merida, a princess does not place her weapons on the table.

Servant: My lady,

Queen: Thank you, Mary.

(They were eating) (While the queen is reading what the letters are all about)

Queen: Aha, From the lords of Dimasupil, Manoog, and Dinaganda. Their responses, no doubt. (Merida is listening to her mother.)

King: Merida, just eat don’t mind your mother.

Queen: Leon, (they all look to the queen) They’ve all accepted.

Princess: (Merida looks her father then to her mother) Who’s accepted mother?

Queen: Your father has something to discuss with you. Leon? (The king was choked)

King: Ahem, Merida……..

Queen: The lords are presenting their sons as suitors for your betrothal.

Princess: What?

Queen: The clans have accepted.

Princess: But dad?!

Mother: But it’s too late, it’s dangerous outside

Kavan: Mom, I can take care of myself, have you forgotten I am the mightiest swordsman here in the wood.

Scene IV: Kavan is on his way to the woods and he stopped because he saw a girl sitting in the garden.

Princess: I’m not ready, I am not! (The music begun: I SEE THE LIGHT)

Princess: Who are you?! What are you doing here?! (And she attacked him) (Kavan dodged it, she fell but kavan caught her) (Then their eyes meet and their lips were going closer inch by inch)

Kavan: Don’t worry princess, you’re safe with me!

Princess: Thanks! (She hugged him cried to Kavan’s body)

Kavan: It’s okay, princess, cry it out loud, let your problems burst!

Servant: Princess, where are you! Princess!

Princess: I’m sorry but I got to go!

Kavan: Let me help you!

Princess: No, once the servant sees you, he will kill you!

Kavan: I’m not afraid!

Princess: But I am! (She ran away)

Kavan: I’m glad you came back!

Princess: of course, I want to see you!

Kavan: Don’t worry princess; I’ll be at your side!

( Production no. again A WHOLE NEW WORLD)

Manoog: (LCGG MUSIC) Arrest him! (The soldiers came out arresting Kavan but Kavan released his sword) (Queen appeared also)

Queen: Merida, so this is why you are against our agreement.

Princess: We don’t have, and there will never be!

Queen: If that so, arrest that man! (Fighting sound effect)( Kavan was arrested.) Merida choose this man or your duty?! If you’ll choose your duty then I’ll let this man free.

Princess: No, I’ll choose him.

Queen: Well then, Kill him!

Princess: No, (So she made her escape and saved kavan) You cannot hurt him!

Kavan: Princess, don’t mind me!

Princess: No, I’ll protect you! (They escape)

Scene VII: At the cave

Kavan: Why did you do that, what if you got hurt, what if they killed……..(Suddenly she hugged him) princess!

Princess: I was afraid, I was afraid to lose you!

Kavan: But princess! You must return to your family your destiny.

Princess: But you’re my destiny! If you are taken away from me, I will die, If you leave me, I will die, I stay without you I will die! (sing; I WON’T GIVE UP)

(Then suddenly a heavy ray of light and shining shimmering sparkles were at Merida and Kavan’s body)

They suddenly fell asleep, (when the princess woke up,)

Princess: Kavan, wake up! It’s morning already! Kavan, achuchuchu,.,, wake up!

(Then suddenly she saw blood on her palm) (she cried out loud)

Princess: KAVAN, WAKE UP, WAKE UP! KAVAN, WHY, WHY,?! (CRY CRY CRY) (pang-FAMAS ANG ACTING)

She returned to the palace

Queen: It’s good to see come back! (She hugged her) (Then she saw blood on Merida’s dress) Oh my Gosh!

Princess: Yes, mother. You won. You took my love’s life, you took my life. Yeah you won!

Queen: I’m so sorry, I don’t know! I never meant it!

Princess: Meant it?! wow! BIG WORD! Is this you really want then FINE, I’ll marry Manoog! (walked out)

(She locked her door, she does not eat, she never talks to her mother and seems like she’s a living robot)

At the day of wedding

Queen: Merida, I’m so excited… (She paused) Merida?! Where are you?! (then suddenly she saw a bird that she had never seen before) Oh my gosh Merida! (The bird is lying on Merida’s dress)

They went to the garden where Merida and Kavan met, And she saw a bird also lying in the ground, a bird just like she saw at Merida’s room. The queen cried and saying “Merida, I’M SORRY”
